-Story

First off it's not review about the George A. Romero's "Day of the dead" from 1980's, I'm going to talk about the 2008 remake.

The Movie Begin's with Some guy called Trevor and His girlfriend Nina making out in some old abandoned building, They decide it's creepy there and go to Trevor's house to continue the Make-Out session.
Movie skips to Military Roadblock On the border of the town where Trevor lives. Some man tries to get into town because his son is sick and needs to get to hospital, but Corporal Sarah Cross (Trevor's sister) calms him down and asks him to go to some other hospital. The Sarah and some guy called Private Bud drive to the town to check Sarah's sick mothers condition. Sarah takes her mother to local hospital. While Sarah talks to Dr. Logan at the hospital all stop moving and then Reanimate and start attacking people and eating them. Bud, Sarah and Dr. Logan Seal themselves to some small room. Then they Decide they should escape by car but Sarah needs to get her Car keys from some guy who is dead. Then Sarah and bud get attacked by some zombie but some guy called Zalasar saves them. They find out that Bud was bitten but Sarah doesn't allow Zalasar to shoot him. They get into car and Drive to local Radio Station to pick up Trevor and Nina and then head to Gun shop to stock up with Guns. The group heads to the abandoned Buildings seen in the start of the movie and find out that beneath those buildings is some secret Government Bio Chemical lab. Then they shot some Zombies and movie was pretty much over.

-Special effects

Special effects were Not bad.There were many gory scenes and few pretty nice explosions. One special effect that stuck to my head was a zombie ripping some woman's face off (That was really cool).

Acting was decent. No One's performance was memorable by Goodness (Is goodness even a word?) or badness.

-Overall

It did not have very good Plot, Compared to Original "Day of the dead" it has pretty bad plot. But still it was surprisingly fun to watch. When you don't have any Good movies To watch I'd recommend it to you. By the way: It was kinda gory so I wouldn't recommend it to faint hearted.
